From a very young age I have owned and trained many large guardian breed dogs of different types.

Nicky and I are particularly fond of the Mastiff breeds but as with Spaniels and Labradors poor breeding has led to many of these noble animals suffering from increasing health and temperament problems, ie Gsd’s with dreadful sloping backs and unstable behaviour in many lines.
We wanted to get back to how these breeds were originally intended to look and behave as well rounded, stable family and estate guardians .

It has taken us many years to find Gsd bloodlines with the attributes that we desire.
Our Shepherds are from strong , straight backed, healthy Working x show strains . Their pedigrees are full of Shutzhund and IPO titled dogs proving their trainability and calm ,stable manners.

Most of our Gsd’s live in the house with us and we expect them to fit in and assist us with all our various dog work around the farm and the shoot.
Our aim is to have healthy long- lived Gsd’s that look and behave as they were originally intended to.

The latest Gsd’s to join our pack have come from Lewis Hartley the well known Yorkshire training expert who has competed in the IPO World Championships for team Great Britain with his German Shepherds.
Our connection with Lewis began when we used his stunning male “Vislor Bulmer” as stud to our female “Gaia” and our relationship continues to this day as we now have a young male and female from his mating between Finchpark Athos and his Czech import “ Barca z” who is out of the great” Vito Vom Waldwinkel “.
